Kids With Bricks After School Club at Woodthorpe JI School – Summer 1

We are pleased to be able to offer our Kids With Bricks after school club running from 3:15-4:15 every Monday for 3 weeks from 9th May 2022 . This club is open for Key Stage 2 and there are a maximum of 15 places available. The club is organised, administered and supported by Kids With Bricks Ltd, an external provider who deliver after school clubs across the whole of the UK.

As well as completing a range of exciting educational challenges, students will have the chance to work both individually and to work in teams. 

As an added bit of fun, students from the club will also take part in a weekly inter-school competition where parents can vote for their favourites and points are won for the national leaderboard.

The club costs £3.99 +VAT per child per session and is paid for half-termly in advance. All club places are reserved and paid for online. Just go to www.kidswithbricks.com to book your child’s place.

401 USA Challenge Update

I hope you’ve been managing to stay active over the Easter holidays! Here are the updated distances from the end of the Spring Term. Ben Smith really enjoyed his visit to Woodthorpe on Friday 8th April and was incredibly impressed with your achievements since September. I will be collecting passports in again on Thursday. For your information, week commencing Monday 25th April is ‘Week 33’ in the passports. 

Bring On The Power- Good Luck Competition

Bring the Power, Birmingham 2022’s Youth Programme, is inviting young people aged 4 to 14 to send in good luck artwork and letters to welcome athletes to the Commonwealth Games this summer. A selection of artwork and letters will be rewarded with some fantastic prizes.

Feel free to complete both if you wish. I have attached the templates below. Please return to Ms Lodge by 29th April 2022.
