401 USA Challenge Update

That brings us to the end of the autumn term in our @the401challenge 401 USA Challenge! Nearly 27K miles travelled since we started! Amazing effort by everyone! Still very close in the leaderboard! Don’t forget to keep logging physical activity this holiday!

Ben Smith Video – Week 14 – Reasoning

Well done to Year 6 for winning the ‘Attendance Award’ during week commencing Monday 29th November. (99.3%) Year 2 won the ‘Punctuality Award’ accruing only a single late mark.

It’s still really close between classes in our 401 USA Challenge as we approach the end of the Autumn Term. Can you work out where your class is from looking at the ‘State Distance Tracker’? We’ll be collecting passports in again on Thursday. 

Only a few days left to contribute towards the Woodthorpe Friends ‘Class Hampers’ this year! All proceeds will be going towards the childrens’ gift bags. Tickets on sale in the school playground until Thursday, (£1) Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you to all involved with our @TAWSociety Active Travel Fair this afternoon. @ActiveStreetsUK It was lovely to see our families enjoying various activities on Greenwood Close.

Dr Bikes

At the Active Travel Fair, in Greenwood Close after school today, Big Birmingham Bikes will be providing a Dr Bike session where parents, staff and children can bring their bikes along for a safety check and for any basic repairs to be fixed for free.

It looks like the @TTRockStars Times Tables RockStars battle between Year 5 and Year 6 has started! I wonder who’ll end up being victorious by the end of the week…… 🧮 Keep an eye out for further opportunities for other year groups in the new year….
